What are the advantages of joining?

Our rewards programme has 4 tiers that allow members to earn more points the more they spend and engage with us. Which tier you are in is determined by your annual spend. All members receive reward points for each purchase, which can then be redeemed towards the cost of future purchases (1 point = £0.05). For the entry level tier £1 spent = 1 point earned, however the top 3 tiers also have points multipliers on all purchases, ranging from x1.2 for the second tier to x1.6 for the top tier. For example, the entry level tier has no points multiplier, so if you spend £20 you’ll get 20 points, equivalent to £1.00 in rewards or 5%. However the top tier has a points multiplier on purchases of x1.6, so if you spend £20 you’ll get 32 points (20 x 1.6), equivalent to £1.60 in rewards or 8%.

You can also earn points for various other things, such following us on social media, leaving product reviews, or signing up to receive our latest news. Plus, if you’re in one of the top 3 tiers and share your date of birth you’ll also receive a birthday gift every year in rewards worth from £5 to £10. Points earned this way are not subject to any points multiplier.

Note that currently points are only automatically earned for online purchases - we will be rolling out the rewards programme for in-store and for mailorder purchases later in 2026.

How do I start earning points?

To start earning points simply create an account or log in to your existing account. You’ll then automatically earn points when you shop online and when you take other actions, such as following us on Facebook. When you join we will automatically assign you to the appropriate rewards tier based on your previous 12 months spending.

Points are only awarded on purchase costs (including sale items but excluding the purchase of Gift Vouchers), points are not awarded for delivery or postage costs.

How do I redeem my points?

Firstly you need to be logged into your account. You can then redeem all or some of your points off an online purchase when you get to the payment stage at checkout. Beneath the payment options you’ll see a box called REWARD POINTS - simply select the £ value of points you wish to redeem in the box, click the button below it to confirm and it will be deducted from your total purchase amount. You’ll be able to see all the calculations in your ORDER SUMMARY before you pay.

How do I sign up for the rewards programme?

Signing up is free and easy. Simply create an account with us here Create New Customer Account by entering your name, email, and a password. That’s it, you’re set up in the rewards programme and ready to start earning points!

If you have an existing account with us, we will have already enrolled you in our rewards programme, so simply sign into your account and start earning points.

I already have an account with you, do I need to create a new one to earn rewards?

No you don’t, you can use your existing account for the regards programme. If you have more than one customer account with us, please note that only one rewards account will be created per person.

Please note that the rewards programmes for Farlows and for Sportfish are separate programmes and not interchangeable – points earned with Farlows purchases cannot be exchanged for Sportfish points or rewards, and points earned with Sportfish purchases cannot be exchanged for points or rewards with Farlows. Points cannot be transferred to other customers, neither can they be exchanged for cash or their monetary value.

What if I have an old email address or multiple email addresses and want to combine my accounts & earnings?

Please contact customer service by emailing rewards@sportfish.co.uk and our team will be happy to assist you. We won’t be able to merge your accounts but if you tell us which email address you want to use for the rewards programme we can tally up your total 12 month online spend across all your accounts for one brand and make sure you are put in the correct tier for that brand. Please note that we are unable to merge accounts from our two brands (Sportfish and Farlows) and you’ll need to sign up to each brand’s own rewards programme. Note too that points earned with Farlows through Farlows purchases cannot be exchanged for Sportfish points or rewards, and points earned with Sportfish through Sportfish purchases cannot be exchanged for points or rewards with Farlows.

I’m a member of a club or organisation that historically enjoyed a discount with you. How do I sign up?

If you’ve used your unique club or organisation discount code online with us in the last 12 months you’ll be enrolled into the Clubs rewards programme and not the general rewards programme. If you already have an account with us then we’ll do this automatically. If you don’t have an existing account you’ll need to enter your club's unique discount code when you create an account to ensure you are placed in the correct rewards programme. If you haven’t used your club's unique code in the last 12 months but already have an account with us, please email rewards@sportfish.co.uk and we’ll make sure you are placed in the Clubs rewards programme and not the general rewards programme.

If you’ve recently joined a club that we historically have a discount with but already have an account with us, please email rewards@sportfish.co.uk and we’ll make sure you are placed in the Clubs rewards programme (we’ll transfer across the value of any points you’ve earned from the general rewards programme).

Can I redeem my points in-store?

Our rewards programme is launching to online customers first and we will roll it out to our stores later in 2026. Until then customers can only redeem points for online purchases.

Can I get points from in-store purchases?

Until we are able to roll out the rewards programme to our stores later in 2026, if you wish to transfer points from your in-store purchase to your online account you will need to email a copy of the receipt to us at rewards@sportfish.co.uk. We will verify the purchase and then add the required points to your online account.

Please note if you make a purchase in-store using a discount code relating to a club or organisation that we have a relationship with, you will not be able to claim the loyalty points as well as the discount. Note too that any rewards programme rewards can only be redeemed online and not used in-store or via mail order.

When do my points expire?

Points expire 12 months from the date they were earned if they are not redeemed.

How do the tiers work?

When you join we will automatically assign you to the appropriate loyalty tier based on your previous 12 months online spending. Every 12 months from the date you joined the rewards programme we will check if you still meet the required spend criteria for your existing tier and if you fall below the required online spend threshold you will be moved to the lower tier. Whenever you reach the online spend threshold for the tier above your existing one, you will be automatically moved to the higher tier.

How do points multipliers work?

How you earn points and the value of points is the same for everyone regardless of which tier they are in (spend £1 and get 1 point, 1 point = £0.05). However certain tiers have a points multiplier on all purchases, meaning that people in those tiers can earn more points when they spend with us (it doesn’t apply to other ways of earning points, only purchases). For example, the first tier has no points multiplier, so if you spend £20 on a product you’ll get 20 points, equivalent to £1.00 in rewards. However the top tier has a points multiplier on purchases of x1.6, so if you spend £20 you’ll get 32 points (20 x 1.6), equivalent to £1.60 in rewards.

Can I join both the Sportfish and Farlows rewards programmes?

Yes, you can. The rewards programme is available for both the Farlows and Sportfish brands and works the same way across them. However, please note that the rewards programmes for Farlows and for Sportfish are separate programmes and not interchangeable – points earned with Farlows purchases cannot be exchanged for Sportfish points or rewards, and points earned with Sportfish purchases cannot be exchanged for points or rewards with Farlows. You can’t use multiple email addresses for the same rewards programme but you can use the same email address for both or a different one for both (unless you are a member of a club or organisation that previous has discount with both brands, in which case you’ll need to use the same single email address for both reward programmes). Also note that points cannot be transferred to other customers, neither can they be exchanged for cash or their monetary value.

What happens if I return an order?

If you use your rewards points towards a purchase and later decide to return that item, your rewards points will be credited back to your rewards account. For example, if you use £10 of rewards points towards a £100 purchase that you decide to return, the £90 balance will be refunded to your card and £10 rewards credit will be deposited back into your rewards account. Any points earned on the purchase of returned items will be cancelled.

If you only return one item from a larger order placed using rewards it’s a similar process. Let’s say you use £10 rewards points towards a £100 multiple item purchase, effectively paying £90. You decide to return one item with a full price of £10 (10% of your total order value). 10% of the price you paid without the reward points (£9) will be refunded to your account and 10% of the reward points (£1) will be put back into your rewards account. Any points earned on the purchase of the returned items will be cancelled.

If you return an item purchased without using rewards points we will simply deduct the points you earnt when purchasing it from your total points balance.

What is your customer privacy policy on personal data?

We recognise the importance of protecting the privacy of your personal and financial information and have strict policies and security measures to protect it. We will use the information we collect in accordance with:
  • The Data Protection Act 1998
  • The Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003
  • The EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation EU 2016/679), effective from 25th May 2018 (GDPR)

By joining the rewards programme customers agree to be contacted by Farlows Ltd. via email with information and promotions relating to the rewards programme. You can opt out of these emails at any time.

When joining the general rewards programme online customers will be placed in the relevant tier based on their online spend during the previous 12 months.

There are 4 Tiers in our general rewards programme, with increasing levels of points multipliers on purchases only (points multipliers do not apply to other ways of earning points, such as leaving a review):

  1. Partner: Entry level tier, available to everyone, 1x points multiplier
  2. Premier: For those who spend £50+ over 12 months, 1.2x points multiplier
  3. Pro: For those who spend £300+ over 12 months, 1.4x points multiplier
  4. Elite: For those who spend £999+ over 12 months, 1.6x points multiplier


When customers reach the required tier annual spend threshold they will automatically move to the appropriate higher tier. Every 12 months from the date they joined the rewards programme their annual online spend will be reviewed and if it falls below the required spend threshold for their existing tier they will be moved to the appropriate lower tier.

If you are a member of a club or organisation that historically had a discount with us you will be put into our Clubs rewards programme rather than the general rewards programme. The Clubs rewards programme only has a single tier whereby all members receive a points multiplier of 3x on purchases, irrespective of their annual spend.

Points are only awarded on purchase costs (excluding the purchase of Gift Vouchers), points are not awarded for delivery or postage costs.

£1 spent on purchases = 1 point earned, 1 point redeemed = £0.05 reward

Any points not redeemed will automatically expire 12 months from the day they were earned.

Only one membership of the rewards programme per person (using a single email address), however customers may join both the Sportfish and the Farlows rewards programmes.

The rewards programmes for Farlows and for Sportfish are separate programmes and not interchangeable – points earned with Farlows purchases cannot be exchanged for Sportfish points or rewards, and points earned with Sportfish purchases cannot be exchanged for points or rewards with Farlows.

Points cannot be transferred to other customers, neither can they be exchanged for cash or their monetary value.

When you cease to be a member of a club or organisation that we have a collaboration with you will no longer be permitted to participate in the Clubs rewards programme and we will place you in the standards rewards programme.

Farlows Ltd. reserves the right to cancel a customer’s membership of the rewards programme in the event of misuse and to close accounts that have not been active for 18 months. In both cases any points not redeemed will be cancelled.

Farlows Ltd. reserves the right to vary these Terms & Conditions at its discretion.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no responsibility or liability is assumed by Farlows Ltd. for technical problems or technical malfunction arising in connection with the rewards programme and the related systems, for losses or damages arising from possible changes, or for any expenses and inconveniences resulting from the use of points or rewards.

What are the advantages of joining?

Our Clubs rewards programme replaces the discounts we previously offered to certain clubs or organisations, giving back 15% of the value of online purchases in rewards points, which can then be redeemed against future purchases. So if your club previously had a 10% discount with us, you will effectively be getting 50% more in terms of savings with the new rewards programme.

Our general public rewards programme (launching at the same time as our Clubs rewards programme) has 4 tiers based on customer annual spend thresholds. The highest of these tiers (for those annually spending over £999) offers a 1.6x points multiplier. The Clubs rewards programme has no tiers and benefits from a 3x points multiplier on all purchases, irrespective of annual spend, which is significantly more generous.

You can also earn points for various other things, such as following us on social media, leaving product reviews, or signing up to receive our latest news.
