Topicals Rewards is our free loyalty program that rewards you based on how much you shop. The more you spend + engage, the more rewards and benefits you can earn.
You can join by creating a Topicals account. Once created, you’re automatically enrolled. You’ll earn points for orders, engagement, and special activities.
How is my tier status determined?
Your tier is based on how much you spend each year or if you have an active subscription.
Fresh Face: $0–$74.99 per year
Routine Regular: $75–$149.99 per year OR active subscription
Top Shelf: $150+ per year
Your tier updates as soon as you qualify and resets once per year.
When does my tier reset?
Tier status resets every 12 months based on your total spend during the previous year. The start of your annual spend begins when your account has been created.
What counts toward annual spend?
Annual spend includes product purchases on mytopicals.com after discounts but includes tax and shipping costs. Additionally, subscription replenishment orders count. Receipt uploads and referral rewards do not count toward tier spend.
Can loyalty rewards and promo codes be combined?
Rewards may not be combined with some promotions. Only one reward can be used per order.
How do points work?
For every dollar you spend on eligible purchases, you earn points. Earned points are converted into discount codes. You can apply these discounts to future purchases.. Depending on your tier status, you can be earning points at faster rates than standard, meaning more points for less dollars spent.
How do I earn points?
You can earn points by:
Placing orders
Subscribing to products
Referring friends
Posting reviews
Uploading Sephora receipts
Signing up for email and SMS
Completing milestone purchases
Points are added after the action is confirmed. The ways to earn points are subject to change over time. Sign in to your account dashboard to view the latest.
Do all purchases count for points?
All of your purchases made on the mytopicals.com site will count for points. You need to make sure you are logged into your account in order to earn. Some exclusions may apply, but you will be explicitly notified if a purchase does not count for points. We will also award points for purchases made at Sephora through our receipt upload feature.
How do I redeem points?
Points can be redeemed for discounts on orders over $40.
100 points = $5 off
200 points = $10 off
300 points = $20 off
Only one reward can be used per order.
Members can also trade points for products on their account dashboard by signing in here.
Do my tiers expire?
Tier status resets once per year based on your annual spend or subscription status.
How do referrals work?
Type in your friend’s email in the email field, and hit the “Send” button to send them a referral code via email that gives them $10 off their first purchase. Once that code is used on checkout, you will receive $10 in points (200 points).
Alternatively, you can share your referral link with a friend directly. If you are not logged in, make sure to still fill in your email before sharing a referral to your friend so we know who is making the referral.
*Referrals must be new customers who have not placed an order on mytopicals.com.
Does the person I refer need to purchase for a referral to count?
Yes, the person referred does need to make a purchase using the referral code they received for the referral to count.
How does the receipt upload work?
You can upload receipts from Sephora to earn bonus points.
Each approved receipt earns points per dollar spent (based on tier status) on Topicals products
Receipts must show a Topicals product and purchase must be made within the last 3 months from the date of upload
Duplicate receipt uploads will not be accepted
Points are added after review (1-2 days)
Receipt points do not count toward tier spend
Do subscriptions give extra rewards?
Yes.
Active subscribers:
Automatically qualify for Tier 2 benefits regardless of their annual spend
Earn 50 bonus points for each recurring order
If a subscription customer spends over $150+, they will move up to our Top Shelf tier for additional benefits. If a member cancels their subscription, their tier status will be reflected based on their annual spend.
Can I apply my reward points to my subscription orders?
At this time, subscription customers can only redeem points on orders placed at checkout.
How will I receive my birthday gift?
All members who have provided their birthday information will be invited to redeem a gift on their birthday. Notification will be sent to you via email, so it is important that you are opted in to receive marketing emails from us. Instructions on redemption will be provided in the email. You can opt into our email newsletter here.
What happens to my points if I return a purchase?
If you return a purchase, the spend applied to your tier status for the original purchase, as well as the points you earned for that purchase, will be deducted from your account. If points were used during this purchase, the points will be returned to your account.

How do achievements work?
Achievements allow you to complete specific tasks and earn rewards upon completion. Take a look at all the available achievements you have to complete and start ticking them off one by one so you can unlock even greater rewards. Each achievement tells you what you need to do to unlock it and what rewards you will get once the achievement is unlocked.
